National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event started in 1984. The goal of NNO is to create a sense of community and to promote crime prevention and safety awareness. This is also a great opportunity to meet neighbors, get to know local law enforcement officers, and work together to make Denver communities a safer place.
In the 43 years since its inception, 38 million+ people across 17,000 communities have come together on the first Tuesday of August to take part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
This year, National Night Out takes place the evening of Tuesday, August 4. Check out some of our local events below!
