Montclair Park~A Hidden Gem Where Old Meets New

By Mikele Burcaicea Ibrahim October 12, 2017

If you haven't taken the kids to Montclair Park, add it to your list.  It has everything to entertain your little ones: an open field, a giant sandbox, swings, basketball court and a spinning thing that I have never seen before.  Your kids will surely be occupied while you take a break at one of the multiple seating areas.

This compact park has something for everyone--even history buffs!  The park sits on the old Smoky Hill North Trail making this a good home-school outing as well.  Stop to read each sign as you walk along the path.  You will learn about animals that used to roam freely nearby and the settlers that followed this trail on wagons.

The park sits on 12th Ave. to Richtofen Parkway in between Newport St. and Oneida St. in the Montclair neighborhood.  I hope you get to explore it soon!
