Fright Fest at Elitch Gardens
Opens Friday, September 27
Open Weekends through November 2 (including Halloween night)
Free with park admission*
Denver’s largest and most popular Halloween event officially kicks off this Friday night with six weekends of hair-raising fun! Elitch Gardens Fright Fest has thrills and chills for ghouls of all ages. Guests can enjoy Family by Day and Fright by Night, plus all their favorite theme park rides!
“Elitch Gardens Fright Fest is and always will be family by day, but this seasons fright by night experience promises to be the scariest yet,” said David Dorman, Elitch Gardens’ General Manager. “With a new TERRORtory, new startling entertainment and new haunted theming throughout, this year’s Fright Fest celebration guarantees you’ll lose your wits.”
๐ Family by Day
Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy Family by Day activities from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The kiddos should be dressed to impress in their Halloween costumes for the daily costume contest and to find free candy on the Trick or Treat Trail in KiddieLand. Other activities for the little monsters include creepy coloring, scary-oke and a scream-it-out contest. KiddieLand closes at 6:00 p.m. just in time for the sinister beasts to awaken.
๐ฆ Fright by Night
When the sun goes down, Fright by Night comes alive. Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, spine-chilling screams will be heard throughout the park with monsters, stalkers and mayhem of all kinds lurking around every corner. New this season, The Enigma, will help to unleash terror in the park by kicking off Fright by Night every evening. As seen on X-Files and Ripley’s Believe It or Not, The Enigma brings live danger and unrated comedy to Fright Fest. Catch this fully tattooed oddity in multiple shows per evening on The Big Wheel stage.
Prepare to be scared in the park’s thrilling haunted houses Big Top Freaks and No Vacancy, entranced in Séance and pursued in the park-wide TERRORtories, especially the new Psycho Circus located in the back of the park.
Fright by Night is recommended for visitors over 12 years of age.
Fright Fest opens this Friday, September 27 and runs weekends through November 2 including Halloween night. Fright Fest is free with park admission while some haunted attractions are an additional charge. For all the chilling details or for discount tickets, visit ElitchGardens.com/Fright-Fest.
