All Colorado students entering fourth grade in the 2021-2022 school year, including homeschool equivalent students, are eligible for the History Buff program. Membership will be valid through August 31, 2022.

Several attractions await the new class of History Buffs. At the History Colorado Center, Building Denver: Visions of the Capital City is a new time-traveling adventure about the Mile High City’s past, present, and future of architecture and urban planning. A brand new maker space is also open where guests can create a keepsake to take home or leave a creation to be displayed in museum cases.

At El Pueblo History Museum, ¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues / En los barrios y las grandes ligas is a journey into the heart and history of Latino/a baseball in the United States. On the Western Slope, the Ute Indian Museum has just completed its new ethnobotany garden of native plants and has new additions to its core exhibition created with tribal partners. The 2021 season at the Georgetown Loop Railroad® is underway with safe, refreshing open-air cars.

A full slate of History Colorado events and programs statewide is available at h-co.org/events.
