Join us in celebrating Native American art and culture at the 35th Annual Friendship Powwow and Native American Cultural Celebration on Saturday, September 7, at the Denver Art Museum! As one of the Denver Art Museum’s (DAM) longest running events, the Friendship Powwow is an amazing opportunity for all families and generations to come together and celebrate the diverse Indigenous communities across Denver and the Front Range.

September 7 is also a Free Day at the DAM, so general admission — including all Powwow performances and artmaking activities — is complimentary for all visitors from 10am to 5pm.

Join the local Native community and enjoy music and dance performances, artmaking opportunities, local Native organizations selling fry bread and Indian tacos, as well as vendors showcasing jewelry, art, crafts, clothing, and more. At 11 am, the Grand Entry, where all the dancers dance collectively, begins inside the Sie Welcome Center in Sturm Pavilion.
