Why It Matters

The Children’s Museum continues to be a leader in the field and setting the bar for innovative and engaging exhibits.

  • This past June, we opened Gallery Uno, a rotating exhibit space. One word is chosen to inspire each new experience and our first installation, SNUG, was a huge success with our members and guests. Though many were sad to see it go, we are already working on something amazing (and top secret!) for the next experience, set to open late spring/early summer 2025.
  • Bloom, our groundbreaking exhibit for children newborn – 36 months, is a whimsical, nature-inspired space created in collaboration with local artists that sets a new standard for spaces designed for early learners.
  • Our outdoor adventure course and immersive art installation, Adventure Forest, inspires wonder and joy in all guests who dare to climb.
  • In addition, exhibits like BubblesThe Teaching Kitchen, and Snow Days make the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus a world-class museum the Denver community can be proud to call their own.

“The mission of the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is to create extraordinary experiences that champion the wonder and joy of childhood,” said Museum President & CEO, Michael Yankovich, “We’re excited to continue growing with our community and challenging expectations of what a children’s museum can be and do.”
