I honestly can't remember how many times I have seen A Christmas Carol at The Denver Center. But I do know that it just doesn't feel like Christmastime to me without kicking off the season with A Christmas Carol.
Why My Family Loves A Christmas Carol
- There's something wonderfully different about this show. The actors often play their roles for several seasons, so they become familiar to the audience. It's like seeing old friends, in a way.
- The message is so perfect for the holiday season.
- There are moments of the show that are so funny, and moments that are so sad. You are either laughing, crying, or sporting a goofy (and sometimes teary) grin for the duration of the performance.
- It's tradition. My kids started going with us when they were around 10 years old, and now they look forward to it every year. We have a lovely dinner together, dress up in our holiday best, and share the joy that is A Christmas Carol. And then, it's officially Christmastime!
