Wings Over the Rockies™ Air & Space Museum is looking for teen volunteers for the summer of 2025 at both the Lowry and Centennial locations!
Summer Teen Volunteers will participate in a six-week program, volunteering in STEM Education or Project Based roles. By signing up to volunteer teens are committing to volunteer a total of 32 hours or once per week for the entire six-week program.
STEM Education
- Ages: 14-17
- Teen volunteers will engage guests by running demonstrations, discovery science carts, facilitating open cockpit,s and operating the planetarium.
Project-Based
- Ages: 16-17
- Teen volunteers will take part in an important museum project! Options include cockpit imaging, tour development etc. Teens will learn organization and project management skills.
Perks of being a teen volunteer: free admission to both Wings Over the Rockies locations and 25% discount at the museum store! Teens will develop communication, education, and teamwork skills and complete community service hours required for graduation, honor societies or other school programs.
The Summer 2025 application period is open February 17 – April 25.
How to Apply:
- Must be between the ages of 14 – 17
- Submit application HERE between February 17th and April 25th
- Acceptance letters will be emailed the week of April 28
- Submit required paperwork and signed parental consent form by June 4, 2025
- Attend mandatory training
- Meet time commitments

- Exploration of Flight (Centennial Airport) 13005 Wings Way, Englewood, CO 80112 Volunteer on Saturdays during program for at least 32 hours total
