Celebrate the start of the festive holiday season at McGregor Square on Friday, Nov. 28 with the annual McGregor Skate Grand Opening & Tree Lighting Ceremony. This jovial event is free and open to all.

5:30pm | Ice skating performance
6pm | Tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m., followed by a
6pm | Free screening of beloved holiday animated movie “The Grinch” (2018) on the outdoor McGregor Jumbotron
5:30pm to 8pm | Milepost Zero will be hosting free photos with Santa

McGregor Skate 2025-2026
The outdoor skating rink on the bustling McGregor Square Plaza is the perfect winter activity for guests of all ages! McGregor Skate will be
- November 28 to Sunday, January 4 | Open daily
- January 5 to January 25 | Open Friday to Sunday
Skates are available on-site for rental, or bring your own. Skating starts at just $6, with kids under age 2 and seniors age 65+ always skating for free! An outside bar will be available serving hot chocolate and more. Find out more here!
Visit Saint Nick at Milepost Zero
Milepost Zero - the expansive McGregor Square food hall that serves tacos, burgers, pizza, sushi, BBQ and more - will once again host FREE visits with Santa this holiday season:

- Saturday, December 6 | 3pm to 6pm - Visits with Santa

McGregor Square will also host several festive ice skating theme nights this winter. Starting at 6 p.m. each event is FREE - dress up to get 50% off your skate rental!
